Sarah Pemberton, PT, DPT, PCES is a pelvic health physical therapist whose roots in south Louisiana have shaped her compassionate approach to patient care in Memphis. She earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in human movement studies and a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University, before obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans.
Sarah's expertise is backed by over 100 hours of advanced coursework through the APTA Section on Pelvic Health, Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and the MOJO Pelvic Health Clinical Training and Mentoring Program. She is also a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and one of our Clinical Mentors for our MOJO Clinical Training and Mentoring Program.
Sarah's passion lies in providing life-changing education and treatment to men and women of all ages struggling with fundamental life functions. Her areas of expertise include treating both men and women with urinary and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and pregnancy-related issues including postpartum recovery.
She approaches patient care with empathy and understanding, creating a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive health concerns.
Outside the clinic, Sarah embraces the vibrant culture of Memphis, exploring the city with her husband and two children. She's an avid University of Memphis baseball fan and enjoys traveling, experiences that inform her global perspective on health and wellness.
